Broad St Crossing is at the corner of 11th and Broad (old Army & Navy building) There is a rendering on page 84, near the top of the page.http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=110636&page=84

The Victoria Place expansion is the penthouses they're adding. I believe it's a 5 storey addition? There were pictures of it on here somewhere but that's waaaaay back.

I guess we don't discuss every single project in the Saskatoon thread, or the possibility of moving our rail yards and creating a river with bridges in its place.
That was my point. By looking at the projects being discussed in this forum, what would it lead you to believe? A couple of cancelled projects in one week in Saskatoon and a few larger projects being discussed. Then take a look at the list CCF made of what's being discussed in this thread at any given time. Huge difference. That's not to say that one is necessarily stronger than the other, but the perception that you would get based on the discussions in this forum (minus Quimby and Migs name calling) is that there is far more going on in Regina.

Thanks.

I have seen the renderings for the penthouses on the old Motherwell building, I forgot they renamed it Vic Place for the condos.

That Broad St building is rather uninspired, but it is better than what is currently there. Anything that fixes up Broad would be welcome.

Victoria Place.

Although, the addition has since been changed to match the original materials of the building.

At first I thought the glass would look better, but looking at that picture, it doesn't really fit. Do you know if they're going with the same design, or if they've changed that, too?

I believe they've changed the design. I think it is going to look very similar to the existing style of the condos.

I've just started to take advantage of the Cathedral Area. I Really like all the neat little shops. I just discovered that Candy store a couple weeks ago.

^ How about some practicing of what is being preached? For a laugh, how about we post the gratuitous shots of non-construction say, I don't know, here?

Why would I post pictures I took in the "found picture" forum?

From "My City Photos" Thread Posting Guidelines:
Quote:
City Photos threads that are created that contain photos taken by other people belong in the Found City Photos forum where the proper credit must be given whether it be from outsiders or other forumers.

Photo threads that request for other forumers to post their photos about a particular urban related subject would also go in the Found City Photos forum since My City Photos is dedicated to only one person's photos for each thread from the original poster.
I thought it obvious to post non-construction pictures of Regina there since it is a photo thread about Regina and, being in the "Found City Photos", everyone could contribute. Obviously that wasn't the case. Continue about your ways.

Haven't you learned that Quimby is 99% full of shit?

Clearly he is full of crap...so why bother with it?

You sure do discuss every little project in that thread from what I can see. It's just that more appears to be happening in Regina right now. Hard as it may be for you to swallow.

Makes me wonder where you land in the evolutionary hierarchy.

I don't think they understand the point I was trying to make. Either that, or they don't understand the definition of perception.

The point you were trying to make was fairly clear I thought.

I understood the point, I just don't see how one could perceive Regina to be miles ahead of Saskatoon. Even if more developments are discussed on SSP. And to be fair, a rumor from some drunk guy on a new tallest in Regina, should not be included in a 'Development list'.

Actually he doesn't drink and he is one of the highest profile names in this city.....gotta love how people spin things to meet their arguments. Carry on..........
