You know, I think you are completely right. That is a special part of the city, and seeing greenspace disappear is a bad thing altogether. Especially when you consider that Buck will be removing the park next to the AMA building soon too.
I used to love the old Solomon-designed plaza at the Sun-Times building as well.
For 17 stories, I really don't think it's worth it. If we were getting something really great, I might reconsider. But for now, I am not in favor of this dinky tower.
