You know, I'm starting to think there's something really wrong with me.
Because I like 10 E. Delaware. I do!
Now I know that the devil is in the details of the implementation, and that if it's painted concrete it could look like crap. But I like traditionally styled residential buildings, I like Greenwich Village and the Gold Coast, and I like this.
Would I prefer that this building had been built in 1927 with limestone masonry? Of course. But it wasn't, and I don't think that makes it a bad design for today, that that type of building is gone and it's nothing but glass from here on out.
It seems like I'm supposed to hate it, but I hope it turns out.
