2 other permits for the same address so it must be another permit for this one with first floor commercial. 24 million aquatic centre permit in the report too, labeled as an addition. And 5 million for the Westerra Metis project.
I know the 2 other permits for foundation and superstructure say commercial, but I believe that is parking on the main floor. Total permits are about $9.3 million

Where would the building permits for the data centre be RM Sherwood can’t find anything
Yesterday would have been a great day to get out, but busted up and hauled away 6000 kg of concrete driveway instead. A bunch of HVAC units delivered for the Costco. Not much progress on the parking lot but they are stockpiling a lot of base. Moving day for the transformer at the cattle barn tent. All the excavators gone from the CBS demo, but jackhammer / crusher claw attachments are still there. Full speed ahead at the grasslands apartment project.
A mostly empty block in Rosewood has a construction fence around it making look like it will be a large project (Rohit builder). When editing the photos I noticed there are street lights along the gravel Whelan entrance to Rosewood. At the corner of Pinkie / 9th N there are some scrapers parked for clearing the next Coopertown phase, also building a big pile of sifted topsoil/compost mix for the Coopertown parks. Rebuilding Pinkie at the tracks between Sherwood and Dewdney. I'm pretty sure they skipped that section back in 2024 waiting for the wood rail crossing to get replaced, but they never came back to finish the job properly after a temporary paving job.
Putting up the parking lot lights at the Costco. Dewdney traffic lights beside Westerra were being installed. Transformers moved at the cattle barn. Nearly all the concrete floor panels for the distillery have been installed inside, will have to see if I can get a shot inside Sunday or Monday. First pile driller at the aquatic site.
I noticed the colour seemed off on some of the photos. There seems to be a green tint on many of them. Just after the Costco ones today I started applying a filter to try removing it. A bit tricky as too much and it tints red. Cloudy and light wind tomorrow morning, perfect weather to head out to the data centre.
I understand that the City really wants to encourage more traffic circles. Traffic engineers love them. They are much safer than traditional intersections as it is nearly impossible to have a T-bone collision. Coopertown pictured:
One of the photos has
"Courtney should get twinned to Rink next year. Since Coopertown is expanding west first, it will be much longer before Courtney gets twinned to Dalgleish."
Is that announced or is this just suspected?

The admin for the YQR Development FB page contacted the city and was told it would be twinned next year. The entrance to Coopertown suggested that as the median and sidewalks were set very far back from Courtney.
Yikes not rohits, when I did new construction plumbing for TNC. They were the worst designed buildings. The duplexs you see there in rosewood, have p traps above duct work tucked away in the pantry closet, would be impossible to get to if every needed to be changed withiut removing half your ceiling, not to mention they only poly 1 side of a duplexs or any multi dwelling building, city inspector said you only need 1 side, kitchens are back to back and you would smell your neighbors cooking, yes stuff gets sealed with tape but doubling it up is always better. There multi- plexes , like 4 or 6 plexes have outer concrete walls in the basement but wooden interior walls and to top it off they install electric water heaters, which results in a smaller gas line for the furnace, with 1 small future. This makes it virtually impossible to lets say install a tankless water heater , let alone a gas water heater, if you wanted it one day. Maybe its changed in 5 years but I highly doubt it...
College Ave storm outlet to the lake looks to have a series of angled concrete walls to slow the water down as it exits the pipe, sure is taking a long time to build. A lot more workers out at the data centre. 4th building going up. Not as overcast as I was hoping for, with sun being annoying. Once they start the expansion its going to be difficult to get shots while staying out of work area. Curbs done for the Costco south entrance. What I thought was a road base stockpile looks like dirt they pushed up clearing rest of the parking lot area. This afternoon I drove past 11th Ave and it was paved to Albert with the lines painted, I'll try to get a video Friday.
The drrone green tint problem seems to be getting worse, requiring adjustments to nearly every picture now. I'm still waiting until projects slow down to send it in for the unlevel horizon issue. DJI doesn't seem to fix drones they just send you a new one. With all the issues with this model I'm glad I bought the 2 year care package as the initial warranty is running out.
More concrete floor panels delivered to the distillery. Pile drilling started at the aquatic centre and continuing excavation towards the fieldhouse. There was some dirt piled in a fence off area beside the tracks east of the aquatic site (visible at start of the video), could be for backfilling around the facility after the foundation is finished. Cleanup done at the Namerind site. City announced the north Albert bridge project is wrapping up this evening. Setting up ICF foundation forms at the Huda School project. Piling work done at Crestview Chrysler. Going past Coopertown all the power transformers were placed for the outer crescent and along Rink.
Pinkie Road was open today, might close it again next week for more work. A little concrete work at a business entrance and all the road cracks were marked for grinding / filling. I noticed in a Costco photo that they are landscaping along Pinkie. Starting to add gas lines to the gas pump locations. South entrance was paved so that should let them focus on parking lot work on the east side next week. SaskPower removed the meter from the old Omagake location across from the Costco, maybe a sign of development or they just wanted to stop paying for power (the AC was running many times during the summer while I launched the drone from there). The paving in front of the Lewvan Crossing Shoppers is done, the traffic lights at 4th / Connaught are active now.
Just photos from REAL today. Got some with the Mini 5 on the way out, then some inside with the Neo on the way back. Neo not great with low light or the dynamic range to handle extreme backlight, but decent enough shots. No panorama mode on the Neo but I manually took enough to make one. Balcony wraps around both sides and open in the middle. Not sure if the ceiling steel beams are new or I just didn't notice them before (probably original as the new steel is a light grey). The metal staircase that was outside is inside, but I didn't fly around to find exactly where, but I'd assume east or west of the balcony. I should get the prop guard kit for the Mini 5, it puts it over micro drone weight so I'd need to submit flight authorizations before using them.
Excavated around piles to build the missing section of cattle tent foundation next week.
This must be what it will look like, found while trying find photos online of what it used to look like inside. There will be walls at the low hanging frame parts.
North Albert - Ring Road overpass is open fully but there are still signs up that the on ramp is closed and it's not.
Highway 11/Bypass finally fully re-opened Friday. Giant permanent electronic message board leading up to bridge still says "Drive Carefully" INSTEAD OF "EXTREMELY FRAGILE 5.2M HIGH BRIDGE AHEAD"
Last week's building permit report still not posted (edit: updated around noon). I emailed them about getting this year's air photos added to the viewer. And also to a tile server so I can use them editing openstreetmap.
6 townhouse permits for Rohit (+1 under different corp) in Rosewood for that fenced off area I posted a photo of last week. Jerry's Automatic building at 5th & Albert demo permit, caught my attention as it was a fairly large $ value for a demo. Big $ value demo for a house near Candy Cane park as well. Not sure how values are assessed for those as they are usually low dollar amounts, maybe in some cases a demo / build is rolled into a single entry. Recently old tiny houses have been getting knocked down there and replaced with huge ones.
I checked out some stuff in the east. The roof of the Wholesale Club could use some work, numerous times while taking pictures of the McDonalds I've seen standing water up there.
For the 2nd PTI expansion they dug up part of their storage yard and look to be expanding the to the east to the Ring Road and north to the GLS warehouse to replace that lost space / add more (I'll have to get an overhead next time I'm over there I didn't realized how much they expanded the yard). At first I thought it was done this year, until I realized the Google Maps images were old pre-expansion, and part of it was done last year, found a spring image on Google Earth. For the new expansion they removed some structure that had been in place when I last took a photo in February. I've noticed that different parts of the city are from different dates on Google Maps, using Google Earth I dated the PTI area as being from 2023 which is suprisingly old. The brand new pavement at the GLS warehouse should have been a dead giveaway.
I've heard in addition to Value Village in the Aurora expansion there will also be Marks and Sportchek. First floor on the Chuka / Green Apple apartments definitely looks like parking, metal wall studs most of the way around. Arens Road still not open at Anaquod. When I went past the distillery they were welding smaller metal pieces onto the front structure, probably for hanging facade.
The Wholesale Club Building is 73 years old, so not surprising. It originally was a GM parts warehouse.
PTI's business is booming as there is a huge shortage of transformers, mostly due to AI data centres. They have a sign up facing the Ring Road regarding their further expansion.
I believe the triangle at Ross and Ring north of GLS is a new premises for a school bus operation.
