We will reap what we sow, Broadway will remain a car sewer for the rest of our lives.
Or it will stay a major bus route, allowing transit to move efficiently E-W, while retaining access for cars and trucks and taxis

4th is four lanes, and the Rain or Shine patio is almost always crowded... Burrard just a block down the street has a bike lane, yet continues to be even more of a freeway than 4th. It's almost like most bikes or scooters aren't any more inclined to stop at every store than most drivers are and have no bearing on how "great" a street is.

Urban design is urban design. Transportation is transportation. The former meddling with the latter gives us stupid things like 15 km/h streetcars that don't help either department.

Isn't Broadway a disaster response route and a core part of the MRN? I don't think the city is even allowed to change Broadway any more than is already planned, so this is all basically a moot point, isn't it?

Track installation is now complete! 🎉
The entire SkyTrain track connecting VCC-Clark to the future Millennium Line terminus at Arbutus Station is now complete.
Meanwhile, dynamic testing in the tunnels has reached Mount Pleasant Station. Testing ensures that the new system is safe, reliable and ready to welcome passengers.

Thanks,
For some reason I though this was a money shot at 15:00 mark.

I never understood why, but the M-Line has always used that spur track to turn trains around. I don't think the actual inbound tail has ever been used (and of course that's blocked off now for the construction work zone).

Good to know.
Looking at the length of the tail track, I was wondering if the westbound tail track was even long enough to reverse a 2-car train.
The spur looks like it is long enough to reverse a 4-car MKII train, but the tail-tracks would not be.

Don't think these from August were posted:

Mt Pleasant station - shows how the edge tiles are affixed on rails. with an air gap below.
So in theory there would be some flexibility in aligning with carriage floor height.

Supports for signage and seating.
