He zoomed in on the wrong rail crossing though. It wasn't the CP Keewatin line (which goes under the Perimeter). It was the CN line just north of the 15/115. That was the level crossing where he had to wait.

Ouch. Of note with all the relocation talk, does the plan cover the yards? I think that if the plan fails to relocate the yards, then there's little to no point in relocating the main lines.

No. There would still be a crossing of the Perimeter in all these cases. The current study first shiny thingy is the southern rail bypass for through trains. Which still would need a yard somewhere to stop.

I wonder what’s taking them so long to connect that service road over the tracks. It just dead ends at Wilkes and the road on the other side get ends before the track… pretty sure it’s what’s keeping open the Caron road access to the perimeter.

I was by the McGilivray site and they were driving piles for the new bridge. Lots of them. Also can clearly see the new road alignment as there's lots of gravel been placed. Moving along decently.

The railway is so fussy.

That is so exciting. I can’t wait until this new interchange gets built. I’m assuming they’re going to build the structure right through the winter.

St Anne’s rd interchange needs to start soon it’s desperately needed.
