Does anyone remember this television series?

It looks like it might have used Los Angeles locations.

By the way, if you look closely at the large, “background” photo in the newspaper clipping, it's the exact same photo as the one posted by _ER_. It has the exact same people, standing in the exact same spots.

The part of the photo in the circle appears to be a different shot - the heads in the photo are in a different position relative to the doorway.

Good eye! I hadn't noticed the inset photo was different from the larger group shot.

The photographer's name was enough to ID the photo. My search terms were "Del Beato" "1900-1915" and "LA County."
The 26th result (of 38) showed the caption for the image I posted; since it mentioned a church I clicked on the link and
there was e_r's photo!

Great ID, Flyingwedge! You beat me to it. To answer e_r, the "mansion'" at far left in the OP photo is the Hotel Rowland (1886-1955), formerly located at the northeast corner of 2nd and Main in today's La Puente.

eBay

Here is a view of the front of the hotel as viewed from 2nd Street, c.1910.

LAPL

Old St. Joseph's stood on the site of today's La Puente City Hall, which fronts on Central, so from the vantage point of the photographer in the OP, we would be viewing the Hotel Rowland from the southeast here.

And to answer both Scott Charles and Flyingwedge, I found a photo on the Homestead Museum site that was used for the inset in the 1908 LA Times article. The Homestead caption, however, misidentifies the depicted "priest." Presiding at the dedication of St. Joseph's in Puente on November 22, 1908, was the Right Rev. Thomas J. Conaty, Diocesan Bishop of Los Angeles from 1903 to his death in 1915.

Mr. Holm was acting as a distributor, presumably in restaurantwares since a lone piece of hotel grade china (old style conical sugar with tab handles) exists with a special back stamp just for his firm. But he has never surfaced before and there are no other known samples to work with. He later turns up as being in Redondo just before his early demise in 1951. Is there something odd about that Hermosa address? Might this be an older 15th Street further east and ended up inside the northward expansion of Redondo such that the street was re-named? I’m totally lost on where it should be. And if there is a photo, it would be nice to locate his building assuming it can be found in some files online.
The 800 block of 15th street in Hermosa Beach still exists. It is directly east of Pacific Coast Highway.

There currently is no 830 address. There are two units on each lot around there having numbers 824, 826, 832 & 834. 832 is the only building that may have existed in the 1930s.

This used to be a Standard Brands paint store

It was a very nice big store on the corner of Broadway and Pico.

This following image shows what was the store entrance:

Macy Liquor

I think the name was Macy Liquor, but not certain. Now shuttered.
Macy Street is now Cesar Chavez, near the Plaza Church. Looking west. Bunker Hill in background.

Looking east. Terminal Annex in background

Bristolian....a big Thank You. Got to a frontal google shot of 832 via the RE folks. 830 must have been just a residence for him over there, but interestingly close to where the Santa Fe branch had a freight depot…doubtful that he was dealing with full boxcars like the big firms, but maybe LCL deliveries came through there. If he had a commercial facility nearby to serve the beach town venues then living in the area would make sense. (Very odd that his company mark has never been recorded to my knowledge, but we also rarely see any of the heavy vitreous restaurantwares produced by the Furlong-Poxon plant in Vernon.)
