Not sure why the local media would consider this news, as there are several hundred hectares of forest directly behind Parkwood Hospital and adjacent to Victoria Hospital across the street. Of course there will be groundhogs. Lots of them. It might be more newsworthy if there weren't any about.

When I was receiving treatment at Parkwood years back, I would hike back in that bush between therapy sessions. There are all sorts of critters there. Very nice in the middle of an urban environment.
