Monahan filled that role very well for quite a while, until injuries took him out.

I am still a bit disappointed we didn't take a center with our first pick this year. Carels will be a great player, but you can trade for top D, a center is much harder to acquire. Maybe Reschny can step up this season, or Honzek.

Hellebuyck wants out of Winnipeg, hope they can flip him for a quality goalie. Always the hardest position to fill...

Does Edmonton work a deal with Jarry and a top 6 and 9?

Edmonton would be smart to pursue him, but I have a feeling he won't sign in Canada.

Yeah - I can’t see him accepting a deal that keeps him in Canada.

I believe he has hinted his preference to be in Yankeeland.

As such I say, adios muchacho!

Hellebuyck wants out of Canada after Canadians — Manitobans in particular — turned on him for winning Olympic gold, then accepting the Presidential Medal of Freedom from the office of the President. He was branded a Trumper and MAGA supporter. That kind of partisan pile-on is not in the spirit of the Olympics, which is supposed to set political divisions aside.

Tkachuk and Hellybuck both driven down south because of their fans. Im guessing Matthews is next.

If one player deserves to make close to the max, it's Makar. Best player in the league outside McDavid especially when he turns it on.

I'll watch the odd Jets game but that's it. If the Jets make the playoffs, then I'll be interested in the NHL. But anything else to do with the league? Nope.

If the Expos come back then I'll care about MLB.

NFL? I have a passing interest but no favourite team.

NBA? Nope, nadda

MLS? Are you 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 kidding me?

I'll devote my short attention span and limited funds to domestic leagues, all the US drama and talking heads? Its all white noise and a waste of my time.

Ok - Go Jets or Sens!
I know the Flames won’t be winning the cup this year and I can’t stand the other 4 options.

Really hoping the Sabres can pull it off this year.

Need a 2C for that. Hopefully before the trade deadline.

Also HILARIOUS that Zeev Buium will make more than Lane Hutson over the next 8 years.
Or if you want to compare contracts signed the same off season, Zeev Buium will make more than Ivan Demidov over the next 8 years.
