yes, this is true, but Clockzilla may attempt a flanking maneuver, joining with his fellow fuglies south of the river in Longueuil to wage battle.
Also, is the eye mirrored on the back side of the building?

It looks a bit gangrenous up close. Didn’t realize the northern Clockzillaward facade was literally the dark side of the moon.

That’s an interesting and different view of Ottawa I’m not used to seeing. I actually don’t mind the red and white towers on the left. Suiting colours for our nation’s capital. Also nice old stock streets in the foreground. Don’t see enough of that. Since most of the new towers in Ottawa are seemingly in undeveloped areas or next to stroads and highways it gives the impression from photo updates of their being little historic fabric streets with density similar to Montreal’s neighbourhoods.

Dear God, it is! I honestly had no idea this was a brand new building - I thought someone did a horrific renovation on an old hotel or something. Bleugh. It's a literal target for Clockzilla to vanquish and absorb the soul of in his quest for victory over all of Canada.

That Montreal circle thing look like a fan and is a complete eyesore.

Edmonton certainly needs more density but the downtown & Oliver already has a decent population size. Edmonton is a great example of how density doesn't always equate to pedestrian friendly or vibrancy. It also requires urban planning and the creation of "complete streets" and Edmonton's downtown doesn't have any,

The height limit will remain downtown, except for perhaps the Cogswell interchange district. There are new developments planned for Dartmouth near the McDonald Bridge and up near Young Aveniue in Halifax where multiple 40-50 storey buildings are planned.

This is impressive, but Halifax is growing so fast that the next 'wave' of development will go even further.

I think many forget - Halifax was essentially destroyed 100 years ago and was a 'big city' in its time. Despite interventions by anti-development forces for over 40 years, we rise again!!!

Best skyline in Canada outside of the majors IMO.
