^ your minimums for Chicago and Milwaukee are weird.

Lake Huron-Michigan's surface elevation is typically given as 176m, though that can vary by a meter or two +/- over the course of a year, and from year to year.

And the Detroit River at Detroit is usually given as 174m, though that can vary a tiny bit too, as can all water levels in the great lakes.

Why you cheating lake huron-michigan elevation by 1 meter?

Flat-ass Chicago needs every single last millimeter of elevation change it can get.

It's open. It's finally open!

The Gordie Howe International Bridge, connecting Detroit and Windsor, officially opened to vehicular traffic on Monday, July 27, at approximately 12:00 pm

Celebratory post, here

however, pretty dissappointed deja vu has nothing to say about fata morgana.

Sorry! Didn't mean to detract. Fata morgana phenomena are quite cool; I've seen some in-person too!

A very well-done documentary about contemporary Toronto by the German public broadcaster:

(Germany has I believe have the best funded public broadcaster).
