I thought I’d revive this thread came across this information on merx.

Every time I drive over this bridge it feels like you’re driving at an angle. I don’t think minor deck repairs is going to fix that problem.

Same for the southbound bridge over the floodway on 59.

You can tell the bridge has shifted from years of wear yes. I find that to be insane seeing that bridge on 59 is brand new…

If by brand new you mean built in 2006, then yes. In any event, I grew up in Lorette and took that bridge on many occasions and can confidently say it’s always been that way, but why in the world you would build the bridge deck to have that angle is beyond me. When in the right lane south bound you feel as though you’re sliding off to the left side, more so when you’re actually in that left lane. Super strange

I'm not really sure here. I never notice anything. I don't think the bridges would have shifted. That's be a major TFU situation. It's just a crossfall thing on the road.

I'll be driving to St. Malo again tomorrow so will pay more attention to the bridges on 59S!

Any comment on say the new 59N floodway bridges or the PTH 1E floodway bridges? Those bridges are large 3 lane, long span bridges.

No pics, but I drove through McGillivray and the Perimeter intersection yesterday and there is definitely site prep work underway. As someone else mentioned earlier there has been a lot of brush/tree removal on the southeast side and there is also drainage work going on in the field east of the gas station. Construction signs are up as well.

Seems like they are moving very slow on this. Drove by a few days and there wasn't much difference from a few months back. Both times I drove by not a worker in sight.

Weird, I drove by recently and noticed that it looked like they had essentially done a large amount of work to lay new road base at least for the area immediately adjacent to where the overpass structure is set to be.

By mistake I got the dates wrong the one over the floodway in grande pointe.

Maybe I missed it. I just drove by there now and yes the difference is more noticable now. Saw lots of workers out there. I look foward to seeing the finished project.

I had to drive down there today. Drove on the perimeter from Lag all the way to portage. Only got one red light the whole trip. It was a nice cruise.
