A bit fuzzy but maybe still worth posting. Both show some construction progress in Halifax:

Halifax surely is impressive. I was there for the first time last spring and I loved the city. There is definitely a big north american city energy there.

Here is Halifax's sister, Québec :

Question about Chateau Frontenac. What's the purpose of this roof section being open to the elements? The roof on the left, at first I thought it was glassed in but from all the closer shots I've seen it looks open to the air. It also appears there is a roof in the middle that has the same sort of design.

I'd love to see some images from the interior of that roof.

The top of the turret features a louvered spire designed to conceal HVAC ventilation systems.

Downtown London from Harris Park/Thames River area. The centre building is London's new tallest (Centro, 40 floors).

Drone shot of Balade, an apartment building nearing completion in Dieppe NB. You can see the downtown Moncton skyline in the distance.

Love the shots of QC. Keep 'em coming!

Great updates of all of the cities. It's great to see the country's growth in updated photos from coast to coast.

Thank you for the answer - I learned something today I wished this forum had a like function, so I would not activate a thread solely to write a thank you note

Fredericton from April 2026. Really does a good job showing the city within its topography. Photo from Wikipedia. Click to enlarge.

great shot!

odd fact: American nuclear physicist turned "ufologist" Stanton Friedman loved Fredericton and lived there for over 3 decades.

It truly is. I just wish the city had 100k-150k more residents!

Which lot was International Place supposed to be? I still hold out hope for a flatiron downtown. Those cogswell lots are begging for a triangle.

The footprint of it changed a bit with the Cogswell work but it's more or less the one at the far right in the first picture behind the pedway.
