These pyrocumulus clouds are pretty scary, friends. More to come, I guess.

27°C in Charlottetown with a Humidex of 30 right now! No projected rain until Thursday. Low of 14 tonight. Hardly any wind, especially compared to what we'd been having last week.

Crazy that Boston Bar area is 220 kilometers from Vancouver as the crow flies and the fire is now 264 square kilometers in size after three separate fires combined. Hopefully up to three days of rain that is currently arriving here will help fight the fire.

Went to a movie theatre tonight (Hades Town - the Musical) - highly recommended.

When we got out, you could definitely smell smoke in the air. There are no fires nearby, so I presume the smoke is coming from northern Ontario, probably about 3000 km away.

29C with a humidex of 33 and sunny. One of those 10/10 days. Moderate humidity, sunshine, light winds, pleasantly warm temperature.

Peak raspberry season

Low of 16C this morning.

The warmspot was Val Marie, SK at 38.4C.

Warmest low yesterday were Ashcroft and Lillooet, BC at 22.5C.

Another wicked storm tonight. The unique bit was the emount of energy in it. the wind was strong but the lightning was particularly intense. Most of the storm, the lightning was flickering constantly and consistently, like a TV screen on the fritz.

Also, yes more streets flooded. That isn't unique anymore.

That’s pretty snarky. Let me go back and see how many photos you’ve contributed…..

Klazu has contributed lots of great photos over the years and has every right to indicate they’re his.

Cool, cloudy and rainy weekend in Vancouver. We managed to BBQ in a park despite the weather.
And I'm definitely not complaining. We need the rain badly.

30C with a humidex of 34 and mainly sunny. More of a mix of sun and clouds early in the day until about 2PM then completely clear conditions. What I said yesterday applies today as well. Perfect 10/10 day.

Low of 19C this morning.

The warmspot was Weyburn, SK at 34.0C.

The warmest low yesterday was Lytton, BC at 20.4C.

Rain, but sunny afternoon on Saturday and mixed sun after 5 p.m. today in Victoria.

Great shots giallo - that burger looks perfect! Bet it taste even better. I took a photo from the same spot a couple weeks back:

Some crazy footage from the Post Malone concert there that had to be cancelled due to weather:

Heat is finally broken but forecast has swung a little too far in the other direction. Cloud and drizzle through next Sunday at least.

That storm in Edmonton looked quite intense, you guys just keep getting hammered up there. Meanwhile hot and dry in Calgary, we could use some rain now...

I was at KDays on Saturday and could see that storm coming for a good 30 mins. before it hit. Managed to clear out and get on the LRT right on time. I experienced the entire storm from the comfort of the train on my way back to the southside.

Edmonton just keeps getting hit, and it doesn't look like it will end anytime soon. More storm potential tonight and tomorrow, with evening/night rain in the forecast for almost every day this week. I'll be keeping an eye on Saturday night as the week goes on, because it's going to be hot and humid with a major cool down overnight into Sunday. We could be in for some more major storms.

Meanwhile, Red Deer south continues to just be hot and dry with no precipitation in the forecast at all. It would be nice for that to flip for August. They could use the moisture, and we could really stand to dry out a bit.

*EDIT
And there it is, as of 11:32 am we're under a severe thunderstorm watch again.
