I’ll forgive you for posting here haha it feels like there isn’t a great place for these kind of posts on this forum. But, it’s great to see this kind of money being invested in areas outside of Saskatoon and Regina.

I’ve always seen PA as having high potential with the location it’s in, along the river and near the edge of the tree line. You make a great point about their downtown area as well, there are many historic buildings that you just don’t see replicated these days. I certainly overlooked this before today.

The $1B expansion that’s going on at Victoria Hospital should help alleviate some pressure off of Saskatoon services. There’s also the ongoing Northern Lights Casino renovation and upcoming replacement of the Art Hauser Center (part of a larger project called the Yard District in southeast PA, along Highway 3 https://signaturedevelopments.net/the-yard/ ).

A few outdoorsy folks that I’ve spoken to in the past couple years have said they’d live there if PA had the amenities of Saskatoon, due to the even closer proximity to the northern forest/lakes. These four projects really could move the needle in terms of attracting more people and even more investment to the city.
