Neat to think that 100 years later a sidewalk is back south of the Lee building's columns.

Weird that the perceived elevation difference is now gone.

I drove this a couple of days ago, and even as temporary pavement goes it's quite a dodgy job. very uneven and wavy. The final top coat can't come quickly enough.

I guess those will be removed with the new poles.

When traffic lights were on wires downtown, they used to attach to buildings, invluding the Hudson's Bay.

That image is AI generated and contains a number of hallucinations.

Lexus, sorry but we can't accept to have AI images posted here.
Linking your Youtube videos with titles and labels added to the thumbnail image with AI is fine but honestly this one is borderline with the displayed thumbnail so obviously fake. It really does look like slop when the entire image has been generate and contains major hallucinations. It's not a good representation of the video.

I think he just wanted to add cars to the thumbnail but AI took creative license over the pavement/traffic lines

I would avoid AI all together. The second I get the hint that a thumbnail used AI, I don’t watch the video, as it’s often a key indicator of the effort / validity of the creator / video itself.

AI image of Trump or Carney crying or laughing, nope, not clicking, AI images of real places, nope, not watching.

Even B1M, a channel I really like, is starting to annoy me with their obvious AI creep.

Hi everyone, thanks for all your feedback. There is so much feedback, here it’s about AI thumbnail, in YouTube comments people say they really like the music, or they really hate the music. It’s hard to make everyone happy. Above is the real picture. I’m working two other jobs, and drone flying is quite time-consuming and I only do it as a hobby, that’s why I’m using AI for thumbnail only.
Also just returned from my bike ride to Langley, will post second part of skytrain update in a day or two.

Don't worry about it too much all the work you've put into all your videos shows and I'm sure everyone appreciates it. You probably can ask in the prompt to be more specific about it not touching the original image.

What you can do, because I like what you do, but don't want your videos to get a bad first impression with AI thumbs, is just download a couple PNG graphics (such as arrows and swoops) and make a thumbnail template. Would take you no time at all just to have your image, then layer your PNG graphics over top and a text, and then just tweak that set template for every new thumb.

It's a pretty ugly mess with new and faded lines on the pavement already. I wonder how long before they can clean it up and open up that right turn lane, along with unblocking the left turn lanes from Main st.
