I found the decision document. https://www.regina.ca/export/sites/Regin...ent/PL202500305-Record-of-Decision-2.pdf
One would think they would be smarter than that I’m not the process would’ve been speeded up in two days if they had any brains

They had a sod turning ceremony in August a half a year ago Construction was supposed to start, but the mayor had said the longer they wait the more it’s gonna cost. The cost is probably got up another $30 million. Why have you not said why haven’t you not started Construction?
Not a peep, not a word be honest with the people Regina collects tens of millions of dollars in tax money or is that money? Where is it going? He says nothing about it or about anything. He really is not the right man to be the mayor of the city of Regina, the city deserves better.

Definitely underway now. Was a sign up from the Albert Street side saying the road on the left of the first image is closed. Not sure if that will be a long term closure for construction.

Someone from the city told me the current work is just removal of contaminated soil. Spring / Summer before major construction work begins.

1951 Aerial shows the area was a railyard, so that make sense.

Are you sure?

Still not much going on. Stockpiling dirt on old Taylor Field site which is recent, the pipes have been there upwards of a month.

No equipment at all on site when I was past there this morning. Could indicate the contamination cleanup is done.
