^^^ Nice find.

I find this interesting:

Additional projects planned including:
○ Proposed 366-unit development
○ Proposed 458-unit development
○ 135 recently completed units on

That’s a lot of units have we seen any of these come to light yet?

I saw this too.

I'm not sure what they are referring to. There is a major development in the works for the east side of McLaughlin just before the TCH. I was wondering if this was it.......

The Sobeys plaza on Elmwood is another prototypical neighbourhood commercial centre, just like Emmerson Park is turning out to be,

If Pita Land pans out, then this plaza will have 100% occupancy.

Tenants
- Sobeys
- NBLC
- Dollarama
- Lawton's
- A&W
- Pet Valu
- Nancy Nails
- Oxygen Yoga
- Pita Land (maybe)
There is currently a post on Facebook announcing that Pita Land plans to open in the "next few weeks." The last time I went to that Sobeys, I thought there was some activity going on in this CRU.

The province already owns the wooded parcel west of the field:

I see they stared doing work on the sub-division not too far from Costco going northbound. How many units are they planning on building there.

There were two subdivisions proposed, one on the east side of Elmwood and one on the west side.

Eastgate (west side of Elmwood) was larger, and will be a substantial subdivision with hundreds of residential units. The other one is considerably smaller.

Several large lots are now being prepped in the Moncton East Business Park for imminent development.

One of these appears to be for a multitenant building. The others I am not so sure. This park is developing rapidly, and with these new construction projects, will likely be at least 2/3rds full.

From Colliers East:

Quote:
Congratulations to Jean-Michel Allain on the recent sale of a 2.37-acre industrial lot in the new Harrisville Logistics Park in Moncton. 🏗️
This transaction supports the continued growth and expansion of Brunswick Lift Rentals Ltd., led by Stephane Ringuette, and marks an exciting step forward for their business. With direct access to both Highway 2 and Highway 15, Harrisville Logistics Park continues to stand out as one of the region’s most strategic industrial locations. A big congratulations to all parties involved, including Moncton Industrial Development.
So, another lot sold in the Harrisville Logistics Park.

It would appear industrial development in greater Moncton continues unabated despite recent challenges due to Trumpian tariffs.

This gives me even more confidence that MID will press on with expansion of the MID West Industrial Park.

Expansion of the Walmart distribution centre in the Caledonia Industrial Park is apparently imminent.

I never realized the developer of this is Seville Properties. This is their first commercial project. Hopefully they are planning something for the subway block after this development

My source regarding the Walmart distribution centre expansion is rock-solid.

This should not be surprising. While the current DC is a large building, it's focus is on comestibles. Most Walmart DCs are truly massive. It was inevitable that it would be expanded, with it's focus diversified.

My (rock solid) source got back to me about the Walmart DC expansion.

The distribution centre will remain grocery only (general merchandise is sourced out of Cornwall ON), but, the corporation is considering on adding a general merchandise capacity sometime in the future.

The expansion is massive. They will be doubling the capacity of the distribution centre.

Work is not just imminent. It has already begun.........

I think they want all the Maritime Walmarts to be Super Centres with a solid grocery component, so to supply that they would need a bigger DC.

They probably have their eye on a few more Walmart stores opening up in general, possibly to nibble at the Loblaws and Sobeys territories in the larger towns they aren't in yet.

Riverview and Oromocto are likely on the radar among other places, even if they aren't getting stores right away.

From Moncton PAC:

Quote:
Cormier Custom Homes Inc. is proposing to develop a residential subdivision on the Northeast side of MacIntosh Boulevard, in the Sterling Meadows Subdivision.

The proposed subdivision will extend MacCoun Street, Cadieux Street, a Future Street and creates one new public street, Land for Public Purposes, 30 lots for future residential development and a lot for a Storm Water Detention Pond.
This subdivision is located on the north side of Shediac Road just before the TCH overpass. This is an expansion of the subdivision that was created 5-6 years ago,
