I see the cops were once again cosplaying Secret Service convoy on Granville Street today at the same time there was an accident on the Oak Street Bridge. Brilliant!

Who are they expecting to attend the games here? King Charles? The Pope?

Yeah. they were trainning (level 4, police escort) on Burrard St. today and yesterday. They do 4 convoys a day, 2 into Downtown and 2 out of Downtown.

Well, Italy didn't qualify so it's probably not The Pope.

Lighted frame sculptures coming to Granville St. from Dekralite
- same company that did the lamppost snowflakes and the suspended strings at Robson Square.

Today we can finally say it: Dekra-Lite is taking over Downtown Vancouver

10 custom installations. 250,000 lights. One family-built vision for what a city can feel like when soccer comes home.

We’re bringing The Light Behind The Game to Granville St and Canada Place. Starting Thursday, June 11, see our decor:

Enchanted Forest: Granville Street Pedestrian Zone, between Robson & Smithe (800 Block)
Soccer Ball & Players 1 & 2: Granville Street Pedestrian Zone, between Nelson & Smithe (900 Block)
Soccer Player 3: Vancouver Convention Centre
