I actually like the buildings, strange as they are, but the incorporation of the heritage houses is one of the looniest yet.

The entirety of Kirkor needs to be arrested for the countless architectural atrocities they've inflicted on the city.

And be cast down with the sodomites (as Warden Norton warned in The Shawshank Redemption).

I don't actually mind the weird heritage "integration" as much as the banana peeling from half-way up or so. Why, Kirkor? Please 'splain.

I was originally thinking, okay, they had some neat ideas and just totally failed putting them together and then I saw the preservation cysts.

Sheesh, It's awful.

^resi iteration 3 and the best of the bunch.

35 storeys at 122m.

This will be the second tallest 'pure' residential in the city.

This looks alright. I just wish it wasn't blue like the other Ice district towers. Are they that literal with this development?

a little bland (as mentioned, too much like the other ice district towers), but not bad.

The best part is it will block out the ugliest condos in the city (Nuera and Sasso / Vetro).

Sasso makes me think of this guy every time I hear it:

The Calgary proposal is reminiscent of Eau Du Soleil.

That Kirkor... thing on Weston road - my theory for a while has been that "those" firms work with "those" developers with the implicit understanding that these proposals exist only to wear down the city and prep the overton window so that a later serious proposal, which would otherwise be rejected as cheap/bland and overbuilt, would by then be embraced as sweet relief.
