Didn't walk around downtown as much this last trip so missed out on a lot of new construction. But did get a good look at Telus Ocean as my hotel was a block away. They had just started cladding last year when I saw it but now that its mostly done it looks good. Better than most recent construction but I wasn't blown away like I thought I should be.
Rode my bike around and did see a lot of new construction out of the downtown core though. And Yes I was house Hunting.
That said Victoria is still one of the nicer provincial Capitals. Homeless population is similar to most other cities.
And Glad I got in while there were no cruise ships in. I may be back during the summer so will spend more time looking around. This time was more just chilling and patio sitting.
