Funny enough, 19C here as well. Sunny. More like spring-ish day.

Low of 6C this morning.

The warmspot was Bella Coola, BC at 23.3C.

Warmest low yesterday was Sisters Island, BC at 11.3C.
Nicko... you know better than that.

Yes, YVR was 17.2, but...

West Van: 18.8
Van Harbour: 19.5
Abbotsford: 19.9
Delta: 20.0
Pitt Meadows: 20.7
Agassiz: 21.3
Squamish 21.9

And, as you will argue, there are more factors than just temperature.

The pure blue sky sunny conditions are very "summerish" in Vancouver, and then there is the aesthetic of all the surround lush green foliage that adds a very summer vibe.

For example, these lovely pics by Architype definitely feel "summerish" to me! (especially when compared to the pics currently being posted from most of the rest of the country, wispy snow in the streets of Edmonton and ice in St. John's).

I'll just add that there was a nice breeze today, maybe up to 20 km/h, and for the first time this year it felt refreshing instead of brisk or cold. Although I do check official temperatures, I also noticed the temp on my laptop said 19 earlier in the afternoon.

Sunny sunny sunny.

Sunday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 18 C, the low was 7 C.

April around Vancouver has been pretty dry. Most days have had zero rain.

5.8 at 9am this morning here in Halifax. We topped out at 16.4 yesterday and dropped as low as 2.9 overnight. It's all sunshine again today with a forecast high of 15.

Positively Springish today in Toronto, currently 12 and brilliant sunshine and a forecasted high of 15 (although I suspect we will get a bit warmer.)

Things are starting to leaf out here. Here are some pics from yesterday, which was also sunny and 15.

The forecast isn't great. Rolling into May with single digit highs. Looks like the cool pattern will stick around for the first two weeks, so unless there is an intense pattern shift halfway through, we can expect another cool May like last year.

A week in Victoria to come back to YEG and see 2 inches of fresh snow in my yard almost had me turning around and driving back. just the 50c a liter difference i gas prices kept me from doing that.

But it was great to sit on a flowery patio for breakfast and afternoon beers.

Ended up reaching 18 today, well past our forecast of 15. Tomorrow 17 and thunderstorms. After that, we may not reach the mid teens until Victoria day weekend, which is crazy to think about.

Next 6 days according to EC: 18/11/11/9/7/11

Well, the snow is gone now, hopefully until November! Time for some sun and warmth. Sadly I'm headed to Toronto and Montreal where it looks like it will be cold and rainy the whole time, better be some good food and hot strippers to keep my preoccupied!

I recognized that pool and the sheep hanging around in town, we stayed in Radium a few years ago.

I know, I know. My comment was purely because of the low temperature. 19C is anything but summery. I have a hard time classifying anything below room temperature (22C) as summery.

Breakfast and afternoon beers - you were clearly in vacation mode! Did you stay at the Parkside Hotel? If so, excellent choice.

23C and sunny. Beautiful day. Almost felt summerish. Doesn't look summerish though.

Low of 6C this morning.

The warmspot was Lemieux, QC at 24.0C.

Warmest low yesterday was Ballenas Island, BC at 11.3C.

It's still pretty 🞵🞵🞵🞵. Woke up to a hard frost. But the sun is strikingly high in the sky and strong, it faded away into a light mist very quickly. The universe is trying but the air just isn't cooperating yet.

+4C and sunny in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 16C this afternoon.

Another spring like day. I drove into work today with my sun roof open. Looking forward to 7 more months of decent weather before our next descent into gloom and decay.......

11 this am going up to 18. Gloomy and rainy.

Looking at long term models, we could be in for a historically cold May, barring an extreme pattern shift in the last few weeks of the month. Let's see if it can beat out 2019 or 2020 as recent examples.
