Looks like it's going to be make-or-break time soon for The Port of Churchill project.
Two items online in the news today: one is on a study to find the optimal route for shipping in and out of Churchill:

I know Wab Kinew has actively pursued this project and presented it as a great boost to the northern/Manitoba economy. I'm not sure it would be a "lottery win" like suddenly finding vast quantities of commercially valuable natural resources underground, but I can see how it could
help the economy. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens over the next year or so.
