Yeah 100%, their orientation is backwards

It looks like they would have to build out into the water on False Creek to fit that. Based on other stadium builds and quotes, this would be at least $1.5 to 2 Billion with a retractable roof plus an expansion fee $2.5B US

Someone would need DEEEP pockets

Portland will be the next baseball team in the west then Salt Lake City. Maybe even Sacramento before Vancouver.

^Why not Vancouver ?
It would be great in a stadium in that location.
Could Rogers own 2 teams - I’m guessing not.

You want another Rogers Stadium next to Rogers Centre (or Place, or Arena... I forget which is the Canucks home ice).

Roger Roger Roger.
Rogers Gardens is available, although I suspect that now that Rogers will soon completely own MLSE, that they may save that name or something similar for either Scotia Bank Arena or its replacement down the road

You forgot Rogers Forum in Abbotsford, BC (only an hour and a bit away from Rogers Arena).

Too confusing. The old coliseum is still active and is still referred to as the Moncton Coliseum.

Personally I am hoping for the naming rights to be taken over by JD Irving. They could call the arena the Majesta/Royale Centre (they have a large toilet paper and personal hygiene products manufacturing facility in the city).

How long do you think it would be before the Majesta/Royale Centre became nicknamed the "Toilet Bowl."

Depends how bad the team is playing.

I foresee a new special burger at the concessions…
