Looks like that's it for the demo. They've been cleaning up the edges of the slab. I assume they're just cutting it to the desired location so it's a nice clean edge. And the new building will abut those edges.

When I walked past this morning I noticed that they have broken thru into the P1 level of the parkade. I always assumed the parkade was going to be left untouched.

Maybe they need a new parkade roof structure for the Edmonton street to connect again?

SCO AND TRUE NORTH VISIT GOVERNMENT HOUSE
Grand Chief Jerry Daniels of the Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) and Jim Ludlow, President of True North Real Estate Development (TNRED), took part in the Lieutenant Governor’s “Evenings at Government House” series earlier this week.
Hosted by Her Honour, Anita R. Neville, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, this free series welcomes Manitoba residents to Government House, which is on the grounds of the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg.
Her series highlights people and organizations making a positive impact across the province.
Elder Barb Nepinak of Minegoziibe Anishinabe opened the evening with prayers.
SCO and TNRED then shared updates on two major redevelopment projects in downtown Winnipeg, Treaty One Territory.
Combined, these projects represent about $1 billion in investment. They mark a historic shift toward First Nations–led development in the city’s core.
SCO is redeveloping the former Hudson’s Bay building as Wehwehneh Bahgahkinahgohn, which means “it is visible.”
TNRED is reimagining Portage Place.
Connected by a skywalk, part of the former Portage Place mall is becoming a second housing complex through the SCO–TNRED partnership.
Guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 92nd Call to Action, the project will include about 200 affordable, not-for-profit housing units, along with a health care centre of excellence, food security supports, and community spaces in the heart of the city.
This work brings together First Nations, the private sector, and all levels of government to create long-term social and economic benefits for the community, city, and province.
The evening was a great opportunity to showcase progress—such as the completed glulam installation for the skylight at Wehwehneh—and to build excitement for the lasting benefits these initiatives will bring to our Nations and the province.

I love the look of the residential tower. Is this the first time we are seeing the building in 3D? I remember an early 2D drawing floating around on the forum, but it looks so much better in 3D.
