Might have been the cancer risk as well. Read some of the MSDS for this crap and tell me if you would like to mix it in with your morning coffee. Kids and pets playing in the grass absorb this stuff, adults as well, and it's not good. Not good stuff to breath in while it's being sprayed either. No debate necessary.

Further, I thought that HRM dropped this bylaw many years ago. Walk through any neighbourhood with lawns in the spring/summer/fall and you will see signs warning about toxic lawns...

And still, to this day, it completely puzzles me why people think that a dandelion growing is such a problem! Talk about priorities...
