Before I get off topic on the 299 Carling thread, I figured I'd respond here.

With the massive success of the Lyon Food Basics, I'm surprised we haven't yet seen a spike of interest in opening more urban grocery stores. Maybe it's too soon, maybe there's no space big enough available, but I have no doubt Little Italy could support one at each end of Preston, another in Centretown around the old Greyhound site, one in the southern part of Sandy Hill under the Robertson towers. LeBreton will certainly need its own.
