This looks like LaBrea a little north of Wilshire (just guessing because of the style building and Ficus's which i remember we're all on LaBrea). At first i thought it was where Brea Bakery was located. But after a little digging this was/is 8828 Sunset Blvd. Rama Garden had a write up in the LA times in 1987 which narrowed it down. Also the void is a truck bed, you can see the tire hump.
