Not to derail this thread, but does anyone know what happened to the development just north of this one, and whether it stalled or not?

It seems like it's been in the pit excavation stage since forever (or for as long as I can remember) with no sign of any crane ever getting erected, and if I recall they began their pit excavation before the Concord Pacific's Greenhouse project next door and the Reign project a few blocks south.

The latter is already several floors above grade for the first tower and soon to be at grade for the second tower and Greenhouse has had their crane up for several months how and should be at grade soon as well.

Meanwhile, you still have a big pit for that development (Solhouse?) with nothing happening it seems.

They finished digging but I haven't seen workers on site for a while now.

They have 4 pylons showing where the crane will go...

It's been nothing but an empty pit for a while now.

As I noted before, they had began excavation before or around the same time as Perla next door (which should be a few weeks away from topping out) and Greenhouse farther out which is now at the grade level.

It's not unusual for sites to go quiet like that for a brief period, or periods during construction, but to go on for an extended period like this, you have to wonder if there are "cashflow issues" with financiers at this point.

It'd be a pity if this one went under (.... no pun intended).

The white cladding on the columns is nice. It annoys me that Central Park House right next door left the concrete exposed. How much did they save by not covering them? 0.1% of the cost of the build?

It's a decent-looking tower but the wavy pattern on the west side should not be as jagged as it is. Strange that they only put it on one side.

Great building for this prominent corner along the Skytrain guideway. It's quite the experience zooming by Patterson after Central Park towards Metrotown (seeing all those towers lined up feels very Sim City-esque).

As far as this building goes, I particularly like its street level treatment, the high columns and tall first 3 floors and the fact it's not a typical podium and tower attached configuration. The townhomes are nice as well.
