Not to worry. I suspect the local health and safety codes wouldn't permit such devices in the quite same way. There needs to be more precaution from injuring one's self from feet slipping and hitting against the ledge, or slide walls cracking, etc. The Willis Tower in Chicago does have "The Ledge" glass balcony extending out from the 103rd floor. It is much safer. Would you care to try something like that - LOL?

Subjectively, I'm not interested in architectural amusement park-style amenities. Objectively, there's no doubt that any one of these ideas would be scrutinized into oblivion by the menagerie of city departments, etc.
