O-tac, what are those awful exterior panels called?

It kind of looks like a 90's elementary school.

The interior finishing is also awful. Truly a butt ugly house. An architectural monstrosity.

I've always appreciated your contributions, FrAnKs. I read that in a Québécois accent. Thanks for making me laugh

In Florida. It's just missing those outdoor-walkway canopies.

It also looks like a new-fangled outsider cult religious building, it could be a Kingdom Hall or some new age evangelical church. One of the few things not ugly is the 1960 T-Bird in the garage.

It screams: Single, divorced man in his mid-50s with no kids or alimony to pay.

It kind of reminds me of the car that Homer Simpson designed that was so stupid that it bankrupted his estranged brother's car company.

This beast from Calgary is nicer on the materials front than the Winnipeg school/ cult compound, but forumers nicknamed it the Mazda dealer house. It has tacky astroturf on the front strip along the street with an illegal No Parking sign. Took down 2 houses and spent years in construction. Lost a nice mature tree for a sterile, lot with not a patch of vegetation on it.

Lets move on.

I give you St Clair Place, which takes up an entire city block.

This is the residential main entrance side.

And this has been shown before, but I can't think of any building uglier than this in Toronto.

Bloor-Dundas Square has been featured a lot on these hallowed pages. Deservedly so. With each ascending layer, it gets uglier.
St. Clair Place is another ugly festering pile of dog shit. Made worse by the garish Dollarama signage.

But man, that thing in Winnipeg. I don't think one could make a house so ugly even on purpose. The devil's hands must be at work here.

Hospimansion? Manschool?

Is it a shitty clinic? An ER entrance? A Nunavut school? A Mansion? A Montana's Cookhouse?
All of the above?

Time to bring out the John Baird thing.

You are Lio45ing. That can't be a house. It has to be a Mazda dealership.

While not a looker the main ugliness factor in the Crescent Rd example is that it is indeed a SFH. If that concrete yard was actually a patio for a restaurant/bar/cafe or something it would actually be kind of cool - reminds me of some of the newer commercial buildings you'd find along the water in Australia. But a house? Insane.

Yeah I noticed the carpenters had to cut the Home Depot trim to fit between the window and quonset-hut-ass ceiling. I bet there's a fat anal bead of caulk between the mdf and ceiling too

Sure, its sterile and uninspired... but I'd happily live in it. That view!

Agreed - what a view! I had no idea there were elevation changes like that in Calgary - reminds of the houses on the escarpment in Hamilton.
