It will set a new record by a huge margin. Highest occupied floors:
#1 Jeddah Tower: 668 m (2,192 ft)
#2 Burj Khalifa: 585 m (1,921 ft)
#3 Shanghai Tower: 583 m (1,914 ft)
#4 Ping An Finance Centre: 562 m (1,844 ft)
#5 China Zun Tower: 516 m (1,691 ft)
#6 Merdeka 118: 503 m (1,650 ft)
.
.
#13 Taipei 101: 438 m (1,437 ft)
#14 Central Park: 432 m (1,417 ft)
Thus it will be the first "megatall" based on the highest occupied floor. Burj Khalifa's highest occupied floor missed that mark by 15 m.

Well, I saw Taipei 101 in 2016 and it already felt "fairly normal", though it was late at night. It might have looked more impressive under broad daylight. Also, I had seen the 632 m Shanghai Tower just ~10 months prior, so in comparison the 508 m Taipei 101 looked underwhelming.

Nah, it was late at night. Too dark to see and I was getting sleepy.
