I would think when Gatineau is included the centre of population is probably not that far from Parliament Hill.
That said, there's no absolute need for the centre of population and railway station to coincide.

Just doing some rough AI work, if we do not include populations outside of the City of Ottawa and Gatineau boundaries (CP, Arnprior, Val des Monts), the centre of population is predicted to be right at Tom Brown arena in Mechanicsville - roughly 2km from Parliament.
