It sounds nice to be next to rail, but the bigger draw here transportation-wise (IMO) is that it's about an equal distance away to the stop for the Rapid 837, and in a part of town with excellent bike connectivity. And being this close to the rail in this part of town means you're minutes from a solid trail network and greenspace amenities, too.

Additionally, rail service hours can always (and should be) expanded. Proximity to an existing station is a good thing. This is great for the area.

A beautiful building - a shame it had to be so large to approximate the effect of a well-designed single stair building, of which millions exist across the world. Thankfully the code updates last year will open up the options for smaller footprint buildings, and I hope as a city we continue to relax the myriad restrictions on housing & land use which lead to big SFH, big MFH full of efficiency/1br/2br units, and almost nothing else.

What I wouldn't give for Austin to have housing dense enough that we don't get ourselves into a structural budget shortfall due to unsustainable suburban development....
