setbacks seem less dramatic than advertised? Nice height there vs. a hole, obviously

Let's wait to see the finished product but i think it's looking fantastic! should be named the Yankee because of the pinstripes...

Perhaps its the angle, but it feels like there should be a lot more height left to reach the slim pinnacle from the renderings?

I'm still waiting to be "Wow'd" by this building..... Perhaps the remaining setbacks will really make it shine, but so far - It's just meh to me. I think the thing is the choice in the exterior cladding.....

It's one of the reasons I love One Bennett Park in this area - It's not a groundbreaking design, but the choice on the exterior really makes it stand apart from everything else in the area. Same goes for One Chicago Square with it's unique approach to the glass art deco style.

To me, this looks like just another residential highrise on the lakefront. Again, maybe the remaining setbacks, along with the remaining glass will make this shine at the end, but I'm not impressed yet.

It's got impressive height but I think it will shine when it has its buddy tower next door to make a duo silhouette

The cascading setbacks are mostly on the lake side. The city side was always planned to be (relatively) vertical with fewer setbacks.

In it's current state it reminds me of one chicago a bit. I will say for me, the only disappointing aspect of this building is it looked more unique in the renderings than it does now. It's kinda just.. yet another generic blue glass building. I thought it would have lighter or more mirrored glass, and that the "terra cotta" would be more pronounced, giving the overall structure a lighter color. It's just, blue glass with a bit too many vertical lines. Giving corporate pinstripes lol. Since its right on the lake it looks very tall from the water/pier, so that's cool. I think so far this building looks best from the skinnier side tho, looks like a NYC pencil thin building from the East and West angles.

I def. get what you are saying. They moved the start of the setbacks much higher up than the initial renderings showed and also replaced the terracotta with metal panels, which eliminated some of the texture and richness.

From looking at it this past weekend, they're getting close to the final crane jump

From somebody not in the know I thought there were 2 towers to this development. Guess its just the one then..

There are, but the north tower is the only one under construction, with the southern tower still TBD

I just recently seen a tweet stating that this has gotten a height boost. The tweet claims the building will be 879 feet tall. Can anyone confirm this?
