This one isn't big enough to qualify for its own thread, but a neat little mixed use, mixed income residential that I hope gets replicated throughout the city on narrow, low density lots that are prime for redevelopment. It's a good way to gently increase the density and vibrancy throughout the city (especially in more resistant areas) without necessarily having to resort to massive projects.
The specs for 915 Bryant St:

New Building Permits For 9-Story Apartments at 842 California Street, San Francisco

New building and demolition permits have been filed for a nine-story apartment complex at 842 California Street near Huntington Park, San Francisco. The filing shows an additional floor has been added to the proposal, slightly increasing the unit count to 33 condominiums. The project developer, Acme Development, secured planning approval late last year.

Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors is responsible for the design. The exterior will be clad with dark concrete for the podium, terracotta tiles across the exterior, and glass railings. The application invoked the State Density Bonus law to achieve the high residential capacity and height.

The property is located at the corner of California Street and Joice Street on a block bound by Powell Street and Sacramento Street. Public records show the property last sold in 2020 for $5.2 million. Construction is scheduled to last around 24 months from groundbreaking to completion.

1554 Market Street twin towers - some of you may remember this as a condo that went bust. The 1554 Market Street tower is still empty. The second tower on 55 Oak Street side has a web page, https://www.theoaksf.com/ advertising luxury apartments. I suspect the property is in litigation.

Indeed. Very unfortunate it's taken so long. SF seems to have this problem where everyone cries about housing affordability, yet it refuses to build housing where people actually want to live.
