Yeah, well, Squamish/Sḵwx̱wú7mesh has both the Anglicized name and the NAPA one; no reason they couldn't have done the same here.
All this does is guarantee that Riverview becomes the "normal" name and stal̕əw̓asəm is tacked on as a formality. It's almost like Jim Crow.
