I've done all the work for you getting the rezoning done, all you have to do is build it now and I will raise the price of the land before you buy it.
I genuinely hope something like this gets built, but the level of detail for a render is Mario paint and we saw the same thing behind the Thompson inn ( 11 floors ) across from the Hospital ( 11 floors ) and on the North Shore ( 11 floors ) and this being 11 Floors, shows there is something to do with that height they keep suggesting being a selling pint for the land.
Great find, but with in the construction community there is no one talking about this project at all as of yet...

I assumed the 11 storey proposal trend is from the building code now allowing wood buildings up to 12 stories.
The ones that just buy property and sell the dream for an inflated price suck, but doing this kind of preliminary massing is pretty common. Developers don't want to waste money on designs if the city won't allow the density. By the looks of the site plan they've already designed the hotel and 2nd building. Who knows what the plan is but I'll take these ghetto hotels and buildings getting demolished and it sit as bare land over the current use. Tournament Inn already looks better in Valleyview as dirt than it did as that scummy hotel.
Have you guys noticed that Ord rd development is on the market for 12.8 million for just the land, haha. I almost trust super preliminary drawings like this over more detailed, pretty designs. Seems like the nicer rendered projects are more often used as marketing material. They bought the Ord rd property for 3.5 million. Sorry your shitty designs and shitty location aren't worth that kind profit. Hope it doesn't sell, and I doubt it will.
