For the first one, I'd pick different materials, but I love the built form and courtyard. Setbacks aren't always good, but it seems well done here.
Truman hotel looks great as well. Is it supposed to replicate something that was there in the past? Only criticism is that it turns its back to the river with that high brick wall. Looks like it's enclosing a spa. Would be better if they had a one floor section over that courtyard with retail/restaurant by the river, and put the spa on the roof.
