Low of 2C this morning. Way too early to be this cold but it fits the trend. Very dry weather and so it allows for colder morning temperatures. The 3 island stations remained above freezing as well as the south shore (Montreal Metropolitain). Mirabel did freeze (0C).

The warmspot was Nelson, BC at 23.7C.

Warmest low was Agassiz, BC at 14.3C.

Those pictures of Kelowna are great! Such a chill city. Surprised with how many boats are still in the water. I just took mine out today and felt like I was late. Are those boats coming coming out? Or do people just wait till the last weekend? Or do they run antifreeze and leave them in? Super curious...

Usually there are some boats winterized, wrapped and left in the marina over the winter, typically the marina's don't freeze, just a bit slushy, other than possibly the first couple rows of slips.

There are more and more indoor boat storage facilities coming on line around the city which are becoming increasingly more poplar for winter storage (and through the summer since boat slips are hard to come by).

Not on the freeze list, but Kitchener/Waterloo fell early yesterday morning with a low of -2.4. Despite being situated between London & Toronto, they usually freeze earlier due to being a higher elevation, over 300 metres above sea level.

Decent day in Kelowna today. It started off cloudy, but the sun came out in the afternoon. High of 17C.

Low of 2C this morning. Off-island suburbs seem to have frozen as well as the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue weather station at the extreme western tip of the island. YUL and Downtown escaped.

The warmspot was Social Plains, AB and Leader, SK at 26.4C.

Warmest low were Bellenas Island and Entrance Island, BC at 11.8C.

^ This year has been crazy for colours in St. John's. Not sure if it has anything to do with our summer weather, but there have been way more red and orange on the Norway Maples and the Ash trees, which are usually just a dull yellow.
