Mowed. I let it grow too long. That took more than an hour.

Im interested to see how cold Kelowna got last night in regards to the freeze list, My truck was right at about 0c after a cool clear night.

Good news is we are forecasted to be high teens all week and nothing but sunshine, so it'll be warm days and cool nights.

EC indicates an overnight low of -0.2C. Kelowna therefore fell. Kamloops is still in the running.

Calgary fell to -0.8C overnight.

Stunning day, again.

Colours are really starting to pop in the countryside now. Went for a forest walk.

Beautiful lighting today. Deep blue sky, sunshine, shades of red, yellow, orange, and green.

Layers for days.

Not so much in my area, in the pic I posted all the other trees were green, but it depends where you look. It hasn't peaked yet; maybe the suburbs are ahead too.

Today was sunny, and about 16°C in Vancouver.
Here's another bus & tree pic from yesterday.

As a bonus pic, the Burnaby skyline at sunset. There is just a little colour on the left.

30C with a humidex of 32 and sunny. Absolutely every October day should like today (I wish). Perfection. The only negative thing about today was the fact we weren't able to make it official. High will be 29.9C for today. Downtown did hit it and their official high will be 30.0C. The other on island station was 30.2C.
Just one pic during my tennis match.

Low of 16C this morning.

The warmspot was Pembroke, ON at 31.6C.

Warmest low was Thunder Bay, ON at 20.6C. It will not hold unfortunately.

Some amazing October heat in the east now. It seems the bubble of crazy warmth has slowly been moving west to east across the nation since early September.

Yesterday Osoyoos failed to reach 20, with a high of 19.2, the first time since June 21st, and that itself was a one off day, with the next most recent sub 20 high being May 20th.

I think only the South Okanagan and the Windsor area of Southern Ontario can pull off those streaks of 20+ days in Canada.

Timmins hit a high of 29 C today (Sunday) with a humidex reading of 31 C.
Absolutely a record high for this date. In fact it may have been an all-time record high temperature for Timmins in October. It was also the highest minimum temperature as it only went down to 18 C. Tonight it's past midnight and still above 20 C and I have the air conditioner on which I've never done in October.

It's quite windy and we're supposed to get a strong cold front on Monday which will drop the temperature significantly. On Tuesday, flurries are in the forecast.

That is basically house 🞵🞵🞵🞵. I get stiff every time I drive through charming towns and villages and get a sore neck too from looking side to side at all those beautiful and unique houses. I just did a 3 day roadie and drove through the downtowns of like 40+ towns.

No snow in my area Saturday night, but lots west of the city. I think all the ski hills in the west got a skiff of snow too! Should get up to the high teens - low 20s this week, then it's typical October weather.

After hitting up Saugeen/Sauble on Friday, the beachy weather continued so more trips to the beach. This time to Bayfield and then Grand Bend and then the Pinery and then Ipperwash Beach. And later on to Belle River on... Lake St. Clair, not on a river.

Glad I brought my swim trunks and a towel on my work trip/roadie. Between 27 and 30 degrees with blazing sun and clear, shallow water was a perfect recipe for wanting to take a dip despite being October.

First time at Point Pelee. Showed up at 5:30. Dammit! Last shuttle that goes to the tip left at 5. Had to walk the 2.5 kms from the closest open parking lot. I did run some of it, which lead to sweating buckets despite being October.

The signs about dangerous currents around the tip are no joke. It was a super calm day but there was definitely a current right around the tip due to its shape. Plus the sand around the tip will make your feet sink down a few inches.

Visiting the tip of mainland Canada is now crossed off the bucket list.

Awesome pics, megadude!

Those beaches look wonderful and its so cool you made it out to Point Pelee. I've always wanted to go there myself.

Love the Prickly Pear Cacti as well. It's always cool seeing cacti where you wouldn't expect them (they grow on beaches and dry outcroppings on Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands as well).

29C with a humidex of 30 and sunny. Another perfect October day.

Only snapped pics late afternoon/evening. It was a nice summer evening with patios packed.

Low of 14C this morning. Very chilly considering it was 30C the previous day. But it was a dry heat and nights are now longer than days so expected.

The warmspot was Kouchibouguac, NB at 31.1C.

Warmest low was Laterriere, QC at 20.8C. Let's see if it holds.

Turns out yesterday's highs were enough to break the provincial heat record.

PEI broke the provincial record with 28.7C today while NB tied it (31.1C).
