Direct coastal locations haven't been that far off from seasonal.

It's been cooler than normal the past few weeks, but still absolutely beautiful, warm and sunny every day. The past two days have been 25 degrees with moderate humidity. Could be into the upper 20s this weekend into next week

14C and sunny in Moncton at 11 AM, going up to 20C this afternoon.

A hard frost in central Newfoundland is expect tonight (as low as -3C in Buchans). Are we doing the freeze list again this year? Is there still interest?? If we are doing it, we should start now.

We had a frost warning in St. John's in August. It didn't happen, but still. It was that crazy few days swinging from 30C+ to 10C daytime highs.

And it was another one of those overcast days for Vancouver. Struggled to get up to 20.

20C and sunny. Another day slightly cooler than normal.

Low of 9C this morning. Downtown Montreal remained above 10C yet again.

The warmspot was Ashcroft, BC at 31.5C.

Warmest low was Kleefeld, MB at 17.1C.

I kept mentioning how dry the heat was the for the past month and a half. Well, August 2025 ended up being the driest ever in terms of relative humidity.

If you or someone else want to start it, go for it. I might add and update it from time to time but I won't be starting it myself. EC made it so hard to retrieve data that it takes 3 times longer now and don't have the time unfortunately. Used to be able to check quickly... not anymore.

Chilly, overcast, with periodic light rain over the last day or so. Saw a rainbow yesterday, at least.

Getting back to a nice fall in the coming days.

Lightbulb

22C with a humidex of 25 and a mix of sun and clouds. More sunny early in the afternoon while more clouds later on.

Mild enough for t-shirt this evening.

Low of 13C this morning.

The warmspot was Kamloops, BC at 33.4C. Could be the last day above 30 of this historic heatwave wave. Could be the last one for the country as well.

Warmest low was Lillooet, BC at 18.4C.

Sticky and mostly cloudy in Moncton at 4 PM. We reached our high temperature at 3 PM (23.4C).

I did some clean-up around the pool area this afternoon, and had to take a breather in the gazebo afterwards. It felt like mid summer with the humidity.

We may get showers or thunderstorms this evening. It's still deadly dry around here. As bad as it is im Moncton, I think it's worse on PEI. I was on the Island yesterday, and the lawns looked frankly dead, and, a lot of the trees were stressed and dropping leaves.
