This BC heat wave is something else. Not only did it give a new monthly all-time national high but it's just non stop heat since then. I would already rank it as the third most severe in the country in recent years after June 2021 and March 2012.
Look at those anomalies month to date.

It hasn't really seemed like that much of a heatwave for Vancouver. Like today, most of the days have been starting out with low overcast (and maybe smoke) making it seem a bit chilly. It does warm up in the afternoons.
