I highly doubt much or any traffic will be coming from SaskPoly to the care home or vice versa. All the traffic will be to and from Wascana Parkway.

Thank you, the height is going to be 129 m which is about seven floors
Hopefully, it’ll be a nice looking building

I rode out to White City so stopped by that area. Just the one bay. With the creek to the south they might be able to add a few more bays to the west. I also went over to the Royal Park development south of Emerald Park.

Stopped at Imperial School on the way out and AE Wilson Park on the way back. A surprisingly easy 66 km with very little wind.

That’s gonna be a nice looking development once it’s done. I’ve always loved that area with a nice rolling Hills. Thank you so much. For sharing and caring.

It's actually about 29m tall. The top of the building is 128800mm but the ground is 100000 so that's 28800mm which is 28.8m.

129m is taller than any building in Saskatchewan by quite a bit.

Thumbs down

All that machinery at the Costco site seems to be sitting idle. They've done very little work, it seems, on removing some topsoil? But that's it...

No movement otherwise. I thought Costco had to acquire the land by the end of this year... But it seems like the land servicing hasn't even begun fully yet.

From the link to the preliminary plans, it shows a main floor of common area, support services, and administration, with 4 levels of resident rooms above that, topped off by a mechanical penthouse as level 6.

Namerind Housing needs special approval for affordable housing project in downtown Regina
The development, planned for 1840 Lorne Street, is the first new building proposal for downtown in the last 10 years, according to the city.
This is the one of the ugliest looking buildings I’ve ever seen disgusting beyond belief

Two timelapse videos I did this morning.

West Bypass Interchange 10x: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHuw2y7oPCY
Intermobil yard in the east 7x: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9--luPWKjZI

I didn't realize the yard cranes could spin containers, but its an obviously useful feature to point the container door to the back of a trailer.

I think Hills is a stretch. Pretty flat out there, although based on their website they have big hills and a large Lake!

I shouldn't be, but am surprised that council approved the Namerind project on 11th Ave. They could have at least asked for a couple more floors and retail on 11th. This project would be great in many parts of the city, but just is not dense enough for downtown and is not a good use of that land.

Lol. Stock photos of geography nowhere near the actual site. They're off to a roaring start!
