28C with a humidex of 31 and sunny. Perfect day. The only thing better would have been a slightly more humid day.

Low of 15C this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 35.9C

Warmest low was Western Islands, ON at 19.8C

Mild and overcast so far today. Went to a little nearby nature reserve. An incredible amount of biodiversity is packed into this relatively small area.

It's a very chilly day. Still a nice break from the heat, but it would be nice for us to enjoy a temp in between 10 or 30 for a while

Interestingly i just found out that the Vancouver suburb of Tsawassen has nearly 3000 hours of sunshine per year which seems to be higher than any major city in Canada. Vancouver famous for rain.
Check it out and correct me if i'm wrong.

Yah, that would be impossible and it appears a real estate website posted wrong info, so maybe an AI search is showing that as real.

I mentioned this guy before on Reddit who is a weather expert and I’ve checked out his sources before and he’s always bang on. Anyways, here’s his list of BC municipalities based on Environment Canada data:

https://www.reddit.com/r/britishcolumbia/s/J5SsZKEOBF

As for Tsawwassen he writes that there isn’t sunshine data for it, but it’s likely similar to White Rock:

“Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of Environment Canada data on sunshine hours, and it's mostly from the City of Vancouver. In addition to the 2 sites shown above (Vancouver Airport and Vancouver Harbour) there are records from UBC (1,862 hours) and White Rock (1,918 hours). I didn't include UBC since there were already 2 relatively nearby sites from Vancouver in the list, and I didn't include White Rock because it was a very short period of record - less than 7 years, which generally isn't enough to get a reliable long-term average.

In coastal BC, there tends to be a fairly strong relationship between increasing annual sunshine and decreasing annual precipitation. Using that assumption, then Tsawwassen is likely the sunniest location in the Lower Mainland, which sunshine decreasing as you move north and east.”

As for Canada using Environment Canada here’s his list from 7 years ago of the 41 urban areas. Calgary leads the way with 2,396 hours.

29C with a humidex of 34 and a mix of sun and clouds.

It was a very warm evening before the rain came, 27C at 10PM.
It's 22C right now at 1AM but considerably more humid.

Low of 20C (humidex of 23) this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 38.6C.

Warmest low of Toronto (City Centre), ON at 20.5C

Still bitterly cold. I don't think we'll reach the forecast 21C today. It's supposed to be 17C by now but it's still 13.

Neighbourhood is having a free market/BBQ in the park.

Good taste of the weather this week. The Clarkes came to St. John's (watch them every Sunday. Their life is my nightmare - off-grid Bay community - but it's lovely to see). City scenes start at around 31:30.

• Video Link

Edit: I was delightfully wrong. Sun came out. Instantly 20C.

26C and sunny in Moncton at 1 PM. Summer isn't over yet.

19C tomorrow with a 60% chance of showers. We badly need the precipitation

Was definitely surprised when over 2900 hours of sunshine came up for Tsawassen.
Im guessing it's in a southern Vancouver Island rain shadow?

Just beautiful. Nothing but sunshine currently.

These were this morning when some clouds rolled through.
