As for Tsawwassen he writes that there isn’t sunshine data for it, but it’s likely similar to White Rock:
“Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of Environment Canada data on sunshine hours, and it's mostly from the City of Vancouver. In addition to the 2 sites shown above (Vancouver Airport and Vancouver Harbour) there are records from UBC (1,862 hours) and White Rock (1,918 hours). I didn't include UBC since there were already 2 relatively nearby sites from Vancouver in the list, and I didn't include White Rock because it was a very short period of record - less than 7 years, which generally isn't enough to get a reliable long-term average.
In coastal BC, there tends to be a fairly strong relationship between increasing annual sunshine and decreasing annual precipitation. Using that assumption, then Tsawwassen is likely the sunniest location in the Lower Mainland, which sunshine decreasing as you move north and east.”
As for Canada using Environment Canada here’s his list from 7 years ago of the 41 urban areas. Calgary leads the way with 2,396 hours.
