More white and black cladded mess. That’s all these developers are pumping out these days. Just make it one fucking colour. White. The black makes it look cheap. I mean, we know you’re cheaping out. Don’t make it so blatantly obvious. Hideous.

Anyone who drives a truck or large SUV, good luck parking. Those parking spots are about 8.2ft in width and the average F150 with mirrors is 8ft. Tight squeeze!

I love this. Most people don't need such large vehicles so anything to discourage them is a win in my books. Hyundai Santa Cruz is 75in wide (6'3").

Looks like a couple people were/are engaging with you. Besides, look at the website you're on. Your time would be better spent writing to politicians or maybe you can head on over to Castanet! Im sure the forums have plenty of space.

I have written to them, but its either a lame no answer answer that doesn't address any of my points, or an answer of agreement but with the appendage that they can't do anything about it.

So I don't think anything will move until enough people pressure them. On my own, not much my comments can do.

I literally just sent the MoT an email the other day asking if the Boucherie Road and Westlake Road interchange projects, which have been on the books for a decade now without a single update in nearly a year and a half now, will have any movement in the near future. So far no reply.

I too have sent the MOT and the West Kelowna MLA emails regarding this. So hopefully our voices aren’t the only ones, and there are other frustrated people out there who are fed up with the inaction.

Baffles me that they have yet to put an over pass at this intersection.

Kelowna had every chance to be listened to last October during the BC Election but they once again sent all conservatives to Victoria.

That’s a very Trumpian approach to politics. Oh, you didn’t vote for us? Well, fuck your region then.

And in return you expect that to entice the voters to vote for the NDP in the next election?

It’s like expecting California to vote Republican next election because they are currently pulling all the funding from the California HSR project.

Since 2017 the NDP had many chances to win over the Okanagan, say, by not canceling the Peachland bypass, and say, by actually moving on at least one interchange project in the near decade of power?

The Sutton is a dumpster in Vancouver. It's only luxurious by name, because on everything else it feels like an overpriced Ramada with pretty floor tiles.

Same here. Stayed there over 10 years ago and it was a very nice experience. Service, cleanliness, facilities, all very proper of a luxury hotel. Went there again recently thinking it would be the same but no, it was ran very poorly. The facilities have not been maintained nor updated, room was not clean and smelled, staff could only do so much. We ended up switching to another hotel which was way less "luxurious" but felt very clean and properly maintained.
