Manicured is actually a good word. i walk 3 days a week to my work building in lakeshore east and always see city workers doing work on the planters along michigan avenue and the city also doesnt allow any camping by unhoused people anywhere near downtown. even on lower randolph or wacker i dont see them for more than a few days
