say what u want about the 'burbs but the density around Bonavista (Warde - Evelyn Reese - De la Seigneurie) is very high, I think that is building #7 built in past 3 years. My elderly parents live around there. Unfortunately, unlike Sage Creek there not shopping amenities but Sage Creek is a short 15 minute walk / 5 min drive.

They should find the old sign from the Shanghai and throw it on the side of this "Tower" or at least have a mural of it somewhere in a China Town alleyway.

Those plans should heavily quote Shanghai """"""""Tower"""""""" because it's clearly, not a tower.

Hell, there are other "towers" across the city named as such, and they're what, 3 or 4 storeys? maybe 5 tops?

Let's not forget Tiffany Towers on Grant Ave. It's only 8 storeys and there's only one "tower".

Looking at those and trying to recall 'where' the proposed route across from the U of M into St. Vital was supposed to go. Would be classic City of Winnipeg to let this development go up on the proposed crossing path! LOL

I do believe we're looking at that proposed site lol. Looking at the satellite map of the area, it was the only open plot along the river there. The only other way that makes sense is to go over to River Rd
