Been a while since I've done these, unfortunately the Environment Canada website changed and made retrieving the monthly data a lot more cumbersome, so outside of BC I have reduced the list of cities (it just takes too much time, and with work and kids, things are busy...), but here are the April and May averages this year!
April was pretty seasonal (about 1 degree above normal in BC) and May has been nearly bang on seasonal for BC, mild for Alberta, but downright well above seasonal for Winnipeg.
Finny enough, despite Nikko saying its been the worst spring ever (he has a point for rain and cloud cover) temperature wise Montreal has been bang on seasonal!
One new feature I've added are Pool Days! (PD) Any day with a high of and over 26. I choose 26 because its a decently rounded point for a warm day at the pool. Yes, there are 24 degree days with brilliant sunshine and no wind that are great at the pool for most, and there are rainy wet 27 degreed days that 🞵🞵🞵🞵 for swimming. Its just a fun general measure for "hot" days.
